Shekhar Kolipaka

Dr Shekhar Kolipaka is a biosocial conservation researcher and practitioner. He firmly believes that the success of nature restoration and nature conservation projects are dependent (to a tune of 80% +) on the human-dimension and 20% on nature-related issues. Shekhar’s focus is, therefore on interest groups or stakeholders, human-nature relationships and improving people’s support for projects. His well-thought-out approaches improve support for real multiple-use of landscapes, effective conflict management and human-wildlife coexistence.
